Who are you calling illiterate?

I am beat. Barely functioning. I spent all of today constructing stuff from Ikea.
My hands are red raw, bruised, and cut up. And my back keeps spasming.
But boy does my new cabinets look good. [And I have already filled up the CD/DVD draws with my entire colletion. Instead of being in piles on the floor!]

So I am part zombie and I catch the second half of some movie I have never heard of called Equilibrium starring Christian Bale.
Because I missed the plot I really had no clue as to what was going on, but it was actionfull and seemed to be full of righteous vengence.
I then went to RottenTomatoes to see the synopsis, and see what the movie had been about.
I then read the, almost unanamous, slating the reviewers gave it.
One that got me was the one that calls the plot illiterate, and then says it is derivative of Fahrenheit 451 and 1984.
All this shows is the Illiteracy of the reviewers.
The story reads like an holywoodised actionflick version of Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, rather than some hybrid Orwell/Bradbury/Kafka monstrosity.
Perhaps if these American reviewers spent less time on their ignorant fat arses waxing lyrical in phony anti-intellictual drivel and actually bothered to read some, I am almost scared to even say the word, BOOKS they might realise that they are as much to blame for the current state of the movie industry as the movie industry themselves.
Well, now I am needed to meditate a little more.
